TCAT Dickson is accepting applications for a full-time Pharmacy Technology Instructor position at the Clarksville Campus.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Associates Degree or credential from an ASHP/ACPE-accredited pharmacy technician training program. A comparable combination of education and directly related work experience may be considered.
Minimum five (5) years of experience as a Certified Pharmacy Technician.
Current nationally recognized Pharmacy Technician certification or ability to obtain certification within six (6) months.
Prior teaching or evidence of ability to teach students a plus.

SKILLS
Must possess the organizational and communication skills necessary to be an effective teacher.
Must show evidence of good character, mature attitude and stable personality.
Must commit to remain current in the Pharmacy Technician field.
Must be a self-starter and have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Must have the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, the general public and business/industry representatives.
Computer skills and ability to adapt quickly to new technology required.

GENERAL DUTIES: Responsible for on-campus teaching of theory and skills to prepare students to become Certified Pharmacy Technicians. Associate Instructor will monitor, grade, evaluate and advise students on individual progress; maintain records and complete reports in a timely manner; assist in recruitment of new students and placement of graduates; participate in the development of the program; maintain good public relations with business and industry; develop and maintain agreements with clinical partners; maintain an active advisory committee, and other duties as assigned. This position reports to the Director of Health Career Programs. Work hours are Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Class hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Salary Range
$47,727-$57,273
