Montgomery County Sheriff's Office A formal ceremony was held earlier today to show appreciation and promote several Sheriff's Office members

A formal ceremony was held earlier today to show appreciation and promote several Sheriff's Office members.

Jolie Ryle was promoted to Records Supervisor. Jolie began her career with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office in December 2013 as a Clerk in our Records Division. She was certified in NCIC in January 2013 and brings nearly 10 years of experience to her new position.

Deputy Chad O'Brien was awarded a Certificate of Recognition for his actions, above and beyond, in providing a potentially lifesaving intervention for a suicidal veteran. His actions demonstrated a commitment to serving the people of his community.

Deputy Tommy Vallejos was promoted to the rank of Criminal Investigator. Investigator Vallejos began his career with the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office in December 2013 as a Deputy in our Detention Services Bureau and was promoted to FTO in February 2015. He then transferred to patrol in April 2016 and became a K9 Deputy in April 2019. He is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and brings over 9 years of diverse law enforcement experience to his new position.

Deputy Richard Byers was promoted to the rank of Patrol Corporal. Corporal Byers began his career with the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office in February 2018 as a Deputy in the Detention Services Bureau. He later transferred to the Patrol Division in July 2019 where he assisted as a Field Training Officer when needed. He is a veteran of the U.S. Army and brings over 4 years of law enforcement experience to his new position.

Deputy Richard Morgan was promoted to the rank of Patrol Corporal. Corporal Morgan began his career with the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office in January 2019 as a Deputy in the Patrol Division where he assisted as a Field Training Officer when needed. He is a retired veteran of the U.S. Army and brings nearly 3 years of law enforcement experience to his new position.

Deputy Kevin Padilla was promoted to the rank of Patrol Corporal. Corporal Padilla began his career with the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office in October 2017 as a Deputy in the Detention Services Bureau. He transferred to the Patrol Division in February 2019 where he assisted as a Field Training Officer when needed and also served as part of the Crime Suppression Unit. Corporal Padilla brings over 5 years of law enforcement experience to his new position.

Deputy Matthew Drudy was promoted to the rank of School Resource Officer Sergeant. Sergeant Drudy began his career with the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office in May 2018 as a School Resource Officer. In October 2019, he transferred to the 19th Judicial Task Force as an Investigator. He returned to the School Resource Officer Division in January 2021 where he worked as an SRO Investigator. Prior to coming to the Sheriff's Office, Sgt. Drudy worked for the Clarksville Police Department for 5 years. He brings over 9 years of law enforcement experience to his new position.
