On Thursday, September 1st, Benton County welcomes Mark Ward as the 43rd Chief Administrator of Benton County, having been elected to the office of County Mayor on August 4, 2022. This was the 94th election cycle of record which includes regular and special elections. Mark Ward is only the 2nd republican nominee of record elected to the office. Mayor-Elect Ward is a local businessman and former County Elections Administrator. Mark Ward is 56 years old, married to Lori Hargrove Ward, father of daughters Bronte’ and Ali, and grandfather to Everly Kate. His parents are Mr. Billy Ward and the late Mary Ward. He has an older brother, Steven who resides in Benton County. Our citizens wish Mayor-Elect Ward the best of luck in service to Benton County.
