The Houston County Sheriff’s Office is currently accepting applications for the position of Patrol Deputy.
Requirements For Employment are as follows:
Must be 21 years of age (unless a waiver is granted)
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Must have a High School diploma or equivalent
Must have a valid driver’s license
Must never have been discharged from any branch of the military with anything less than honorable conditions.
Must successfully pass a background check, physical examination, psychological examination, drug screen and a physical agility test.
The Houston County Sheriff’s Office has a starting pay for Tennessee P.O.S.T. certified officers up to $20.00 per hour based on experience.
