On July 1, 2022 Sheriff John Fuson had the privilege of speaking to some inquisitive youth as part of the Clarksville Police Department Teen Citizen Police Academy (CPA) and Juvenile Engagement Team program.

Teens were given an overview of the Office of Sheriff in Tennessee to include the particulars of the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.

The morning continued with a discussion by Captain Harold Stilts, Assistant Jail Administrator as to the inner workings of the detention facility (jail).

Participants finished their morning with a tour of the detention facility which provided some realty and awareness to being “locked up.”

Thank you Clarksville Police for allowing us the opportunity to speak to Teen CPA.
