Reservations are now being taken for the 2023 session of Leadership Monroe. Leadership Monroe is a nine-month formal orientation and training program, beginning in March, geared toward current and future leaders of our community.
Leadership Monroe seeks to identify qualified candidates who wish to assume significant roles in leadership in our community, and better prepare those persons to lead from an informed and effective position.
The program, on day per month over a nine-month period, will focus on areas such as city/county government, health care, the legal and justice system, education, state government, civic and service organizations, economic development and tourism.
The Monroe County Chamber of Commerce sponsors the Leadership Program as a vital component in its community service role. We believe “the ability of a community to devise and implement successful economic development strategies is heavily influenced by the quality of its leadership”. Thus, we see leadership development as a critical service to our membership, as well as the community at large.
The total cost of the course is $250.
