On June 29, 2022 at approximately 6:32 a.m., Chief Deputy Bryant, Deputy Medina and Detective Gordon (City of Erin Police Department) were checking the property of a residence located on Clay Tomlinson Road, the officers noticed that there was a door on an outbuilding located behind the residence partially open. The officers secured the area around the outbuilding until other officers could arrive to assist in checking the outbuilding. When the FBI Swat Team arrived officers then made entry into the outbuilding where they discovered Mr. BJ Brown inside the outbuilding. Mr. Brown was then taken into police custody and transported to the Houston County Sheriffs Office.
