Former Creek Wood High School standout Elizabeth Martin saw her college team, the Lipscomb Bison, drop a 3-1 decision to the Bellarmine Knights in NCAA Division I softball at 3 p.m. Saturday, March 14.

The contest was held at Knights Field and marked the teams’ second meeting this season. The Bison had secured a 5-2 victory over the Knights earlier on the same day, Saturday, March 14.

Martin pitched six innings, allowing two earned runs and issuing two walks.

The Bison are set to face the Bellarmine Knights again at Knights Field in a game scheduled for 12 p.m. Sunday, March 15.
