There was one gas station in cities across Dickson County selling e85 gas at the lowest price of $2.59 per gallon in the week ending May 20, according to GasBuddy.com.
There are 43 gas stations in cities within Dickson County.
The average price of e85 gas in Tennessee was $2.75, compared to $2.78 the week before.
Gas prices in the U.S. have fluctuated greatly in recent times and many drivers are feeling the pain at the pump.
The cost of rising gas prices is made tougher on average U.S. families by rising inflation. Families had to pay nearly 8 percent more for average goods and food they needed.
“Higher prices will likely last well into next year, if not longer,” experts said at the end of 2022.
